Lisa is a board certified health and wellness coach who believes everyone can live a life of greater energy, health and well-being. In an era of increasing rates of obesity, diabetes and other diseases, there are small changes each of us can make to improve our health and prevent serious illness. If we’re going to live longer, we want to live those years as healthy as possible.
Lisa’s coaching skills, knowledge about nutrition, lifestyle and toxins, and her experience with preserving cognitive health all support her clients in achieving their goals and living the life they envision.
Early in her career, Lisa received her MBA from Columbia Business School and worked in corporate human resources. She also obtained an M.Ed. in Counseling while raising her two daughters, and spent almost three years living in London. It was during that time abroad that Lisa began exploring alternative therapies such as homeopathy and taking cooking classes with a Cordon-Bleu trained chef. When she returned to the US, she enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), and received her certification in 2002.
Lisa’s volunteer and board work with elders led her to co-found the nonprofit, Sharp Again Naturally, in 2012 whose mission is to educate the public and medical community about causes of memory loss, and to give people the tools they need to live life with their mind intact. She is a Brain Longevity Specialist and a ReCODE® Health Coach.
In her private practice, Lisa has worked with a wide range of clients, from those with autoimmune diseases and food sensitivities to those who want to eat healthier, feel more alive, and keep their memory sharp. She speaks on a local and national level to academic, business, medical, and community groups.
